Accession of November 2017:
The Painted Bonad - folk art painting of the history of Ashbourne, designed and drawn by Sue Prince (http://www.sueprinceartist.co.uk), painted by the people represented at the footer of the panals. Including images of the Ashbourne Treasures. Painted using natural pigments mixed with egg yolks. [2017]

Administrative History
The Trust was established in 1585. Initially, its remit related solely to Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, but over time the trust took on other duties, such as the administration of charitable bequests, including several almshouses.
