Administrative HistoryThese records come from a house clearance, resulting from the death of the donor's father in November 2011. A family ancestor, William Freeman,was a coachman at Carnfield Hall.
There is an article in a DAS journal from 1970s, written by Christopher Williams, which tells the geneaology of the Revell family.
There was an accession from 1992 concerning the Nightingale family. A survey was undertaken, in which some material from this collection may be described.
Custodial HistoryThese records were donated to Derbyshire Record Office in March 2012.
