Administrative History | Barlborough Primary School was first erected in 1869 as a National School. Boys and girls were taught separately until 1907 after which it was registered as a Mixed Department. The school was designed to hold around 200 boys and girls. During the Second World War it took in a number of evacuated children from Gorleston Road School, Oulton Broad School, near Lowestoft, Suffolk. |
