Map of the estate of Revd Mr Samuel Pegg at Osmaston near Ashbourne, dated 1735, with manuscript note that 12 acres 2 roods 17 perches purchased by Samuel Pegg from his ‘brother Ward’ have been added, 28 Apr 1741.

This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
A Survey of the estate of the Revd. Samuel Pegg at Osmaston near Ashbourne in the County of Derby by Philip Hutchinson 1735. Surveyor:Philip Hutchinson. Scale: of 5 chains [1:2000]. Size: 41 x 77 cm. Materials: coloured ink on parchment. Centred on: SK500439 Notes: west at top. Shows separate fields with hedges, gates, woodland, field-names, adjoining landowners: some houses in elevation especially on Town Street: roads include Wyaston to Osmaston, Ashbourne road, Derby road, Salters road: inset key with note at bottom concerning separate closes being too far from one another to have their proper distances but they do have their true bearings: additional note by Revd. Pegg that '12a 2r 17p purchased since the survey have been added, dated 28th April 1741'. Location: DRO, D741/1/1
