Administrative HistoryAn offshoot of the Charity for the Chapel of St Mary on the Bridge (see D4718), St Mary's Charity was established by the will of Canon Paul Miller, onetime trustee of the Bridge Chapel. The trustees of St Mary's Chapel are selected from the trustees of the Bridge Chapel trust. The main activities and funding objectives of the Charity are to support:
- the catholic tradition within the Church of England
- the environment and ecology
- the Third World through the use of technology
- members of the Bridge Chapel congregation training for Holy Orders

The Reports and Financial Statements have been retained in their entirety. The bundles of papers relating to funding applications have been appraised to include correspondence relating to the applications. The original bundles also included newsletters and leaflets produced by the applicant organisations.
