Custodial History	These items were collected by the Peak District Mines Historical Society. They were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in April 2008, June 2016 and November 2016. Some items were re-accessioned from collection D6933. The November 2016 accession is unlisted (see D6967/UL).
Arrangement	Although all the records in the collection were deposited by the Peak District Mines Historical Society, their provenance prior to acquisition by the Society is varied. The records have therefore been arranged by the mine they relate to, with the exception of series 4 (containing records which cannot be attributed to a specific mine) and series 7 (containing mineral account books that cover more than one mine). To enable this arrangement, a small number of items from series four were re-catalogued in July 2018.
