| Administrative History | Normanton Junior School began as the mixed department of Normanton Board School, later Normanton Council School. The infant department separated from the school to become Normanton Infants School (D6953, later known as Sunnyhill Infants School).
In 2006, Normanton Junior School amalgamated with Normanton Village Infants School (D6951) and Sunnyhill Infants School (D6953). In 2008, a new primary school was opened on Browning Street, named Village Primary School. This became Village Primary Academy on its conversion in 2018. |
