Archive CreatorUnstone School Board
Administrative HistoryBoard schools were established after the Education Act of 1870. Boards were empowered to build new schools in areas of poor educational provision or else to absorb existing schools. In 1902, Board Schools became County Schools.
Custodial HistoryThis Unstone School Board ledger was deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in October 1969.
