Administrative History	These two exercise books were found in the home of a descendant of the Siddall family who were associated with Barlborough. A village school is known to have existed in Barlborough before 1846 (White's Directory of Derbyshire, 1846). These volumes include the name of John Siddall on the first page of the first volume. In addition, the volumes have pastedown or marginal inscriptions by Charles Siddall and Elizabeth Siddall.
Custodial History	Donated to the Record Office by a private individual in Febuary 2007.
