Administrative History
Joseph Stone left a cottage & lands for educating a number of children. The cottage was used as the Schoolmaster's house and schoolhouse. In 1791 land was acquired by the School's Trustees and rents were first charged to account for the repairs needed on the Schoolmaster's house and schoolhouse.
The school was located on School Street, Mosborough until April 2001 when it moved to a new site approximately one quarter of a mile away. The original old school building was constructed in 1822. The new school building can accommodate up to 315 children.
