Administrative History
Tapton House School was founded in 1931, and later became part of Hasland Hall Community School following a reorganisation in the Chesterfield area. The buildings ceased to be used as a school in July 1993.
Custodial History
These records were transferred to Derbyshire Record Office from Chesterfield Local Studies Library in January 2006.
