Archive CreatorParish of Repton St Wystan
Administrative HistoryOriginally, Foremark, Ingleby and Bretby were chapelries of Repton. Bretby remained so until 1878, but Foremark (including Ingleby) became a separate parish at a much earlier date - probably when the new church at Foremark was built around 1662. Milton is a hamlet within Repton.

Foremark and Repton became an united benefice in the 1910s, with Newton Solney joining later in the 20th century.
Custodial HistoryAcquired by Derbyshire Record Office in 1969 and May 2019.
