Transcript or Index | December ye viith 1668 Sold unto me Henry Knyveton by me Robert Dakin Holder one fourth part excepting A xxiiiith of all the Grooves, Meares of ground & possessions at Oden above the Ganke mouth and one full eight part of all other Grooves, Meares of ground and possessions there belowe the Ganke mouth as alsoe all my right & Tytle of all Grooves Meares of ground & possessions at Oden either up the hill or downe and alsoe sough there and of all tooles and other necessaries about the same for which ye sayd Henry Knyveton hath payd three hundred pounds in hand and is to pay three hundred pounds more at or before the end of Chridstmas, And three hundred pounds at [...] Lady Day and anhundred pouns more at Midsomer. In Consideracion whereof teh sayd Robert Dakin am to uphold the sayd Grooves and premises and warrant the same to ye sayd Henry Knyveton his heires & assignes for ever against all persons only if any tryall be betwixt John Burber & Adam Bagshawe against the sayd Henry he is to beare the Charges in defending the suite. |
