DescriptionThese letters are chiefly from the Brown family, then tenants of Weston Hall Farm to the estate owner, the Hon. William Lee concerning proposed enclosures. The Enclosure Act for Weston-on-Trent was passed in 1786 and the Hall Farm was sold to the Pares family of Hopwell about 1790.
