Administrative HistoryA Wesleyan Chapel was built on Chapel Lane in 1838. This became a private residence in 1933, which was later demolished to accommodate a new residence known as 'Chapel House'. The Church occupied the original Village School on Chaddesden Lane from 1933 to 1957, the school having moved to Morley Road.
