Administrative HistoryThe company was established in 1764 as a family firm of braziers and tinners. Henry Marsden is listed in trade directories from the 1840s to the 1860s. By the 1880s the firm was known as Daniel Marsden and Son. In the 20th century it was based in the Market Place in Wirksworth and had clients predominantly based in the Wirksworth, Matlock and Belper areas
