Administrative History | The United Free Church at Stonebroom was built in 1867, the same date as Zion Primitive Methodist Church. In 1907 United Free Methodists joined New Connexion Methodists and Bible Christians to form the United Methodist Church. In 1932 United Methodists joined Wesleyan and Primitive Methodists to form the Methodist Church. In Stonebroom Bethel and Zion continued as separate churches until 1969 when Bethel closed and the Zion building was used for the new Stonebroom Methodist Church. |
