Administrative History | The tithe barn at Handley was reputedly used for Methodist meetings in the early nineteenth century. A Methodist New Connexion church was built in 1874. In 1907 New Connexion Methodists joined United Free Methodists to form the United Methodist Church. In 1932 United Methodists joined Wesleyan and Primitive Methodists to form the Methodist Church. |
