| Administrative History | Son of Edward Sacheverell and Anna Carolina (nee Stanhope) Chandos Pole, he married Violet Katharine Denison in 1882 and they had one daughter, Dorothy Violet (she married Degge Wilmot Sitwell in 1906). His wife died in 1883 just 22 years old. His second wife, Inez Blanche Marie Eva Clothilde Arent (born in Berlin), bore two children: Winifred Olga (b. 1902) and John Walkelyne (1913-1994). Colonel Reginald Walkelyne Chandos Pole died 19 October 1930 and was succeeded by his son Major John Walkelyne Chandos Pole. |
