This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
A Mapp of Rominley containing 261 acres 3 roods 15 perches belonging to Mr Tho: Wright surveyed in the year 1711 by Robert Willson Surveyor:Robert Willson. Scale: 40 poles to 1/8 mile [1:3200]. Size: 70 x 47 cm. Materials: black ink on parchment, damaged on folds and edges. Centred on: SK470755 Notes: compass rose. Shows fields with names, acreages and reference numbers, perspective houses, roads and footpaths: some alteration in ink of areas: some pencilled lines including 'oak tree' and altering field boundaries: endorsed 'Two maps of Romeley' (altered from one).
