| Administrative History | A brass band was formed in 1967 at William Rhodes Secondary School in Chesterfield. At first, the band played mostly at school functions and events in and around Chesterfield. In 1973, following a visit by guests from Chesterfield's twin town, Darmstadt, the band travelled overseas and gave concerts in Germany. This gramophone record was produced shortly afterwards. All the band members are named on the record sleeve. |
