DescriptionA soldier and a woman sit on a horse riding from right to left. The soldier has a sword in his right hand and has his left hand around the waist of the woman. Behind them, on the left, is a milestone on which is written: 'LONDON 124 MILES'. On the right of the picture, in the background, can be seen Nottingham and the castle on the hill.
