| Description | Six captioned scenes arranged in two rows. Top row, from left to right:
[1] A man and a woman embrace on a sofa, in view of the woman's husband. The caption criticises the fashionability of crim. con. cases.
[2] A group of women sit playing cards.
[3] A Parish feasts, which the caption claims is held at the expense of the poor.
Bottom row, left to right:
[4] Two young men in coachman's dress outside the 'BANG-UP LIVERY STABLES'.
[5] A man in a jean-de-brie coat, hessian boots, round hat and neck-cloth, stands next to a woman wearing only a flimsy empire-line dress.
[6] A naval expedition sent out by the Lilliputians, which is slow to set out and recalled once it has left.

The fourth scene is a satire on the Four-in-hand club coach-driving club, as satirised by the Drury Lane Club in a musical farce. These clubs were made up of amateur whips, who dressed as coachmen. 'Bang-up' - was new catch-phrase, connected with coaching.
The sixth scene refers to Walcheren expedition led by Chatham to Scheldt to aid Austrians. It was the largest expedition which had left England, consisting of 264 ships of war, 352 transports and just under 40,000 men. Bad weather and bad luck meant that the expedition failed.
