Description | A scene at the Derby Assembly Rooms. An elderly beau, on the right, is introduced to a much younger woman, standing on the left. The introduction is being carried out by an older woman standing between them. A third woman stands on the far left, behind the young woman. All three women are ornately dressed, with complicated hairstyles, ostrich feathers and flowers. Available on CD 160. |
