DescriptionA young woman looks down from a window and says: "Wont you - Wont you - Wont you come Mr Mug?". Below the window is a sign which reads 'Fresh from Billingsgate every day '. She is addressing a coarse looking man, who has a rope with tankards tied on to it. He clasps his forehead and says: "Dang it - I should not mind but I be afeard to leave my pots."

The title is from the song sung by Mr Liston in 'The Africans', by George Colman. It was adapted from 'Les Nouvelles du Florian' and performed at the Haymarket in July 1808.
