A large woman kneels, facing a chair on the left. She is wearing a lot of jewellery, and has large ostrich feathers in her loose, curled hair.

Text begins:
'ENCHANTING PHARAO, thee I address, with a heart teeming with gratitude for all the favors showered on they ardent worshipper ... '
BM Sat 9796 explains that in a case brought to the King's Bench in 1796, Lord Kenyon lamented to prevalence of gambling, and said he would send to Pillory any one of any class convicted of gaming, to set an example 'though they should be the first ladies in the land'. In 1797 fines were imposed on ladies reported playing faro at Lady Buckingham's house.
