TitleA Dasher! Or the Road to Ruin in the West

DescriptionA couple ride in a carriage, travelling from left to right, pulled by two horses and followed by two footmen. The man driving the carriage wears glasses, a round hat, top boots and a great-coat with three capes. He is accompanied by a woman wearing a riding habit and a hat with plumes. On the right is a building with the sign 'R Mac Nabb Sheriffs Officer' above the door. Two men watch the carriage go by. Behind the carriage is a sign pointing left 'TO THE KINGS BENCH' and right (the direction of the carriage) 'TO ROTTEN ROW'. There are three notices pasted on a wall on the left of the scene: 'Theatre Royal Drury Lane A New Way to Pay Old Debts to which will be added Bon Ton or High life below stairs', 'Fifty Guineas Reward Whereas Banknotes', and 'BOW STREET Take notice Stands charged'.
