DescriptionA foppishly dressed commercial traveller shows a book of patterns to a draper. Behind them are shelves stacked with bales of cloth and a figure rolling out cloth on the counter. A large dog and a small dog stand at the feet of the salesman. Available on CD 158.

Underneath the title is faintly pencilled the subtitle 'Brother Saddlebag', with which the drawing was published by Ackermann in 1799 (BM Sat 9487).
