Title[An Old Huncks and his Housekeeper]

DescriptionFull length caricature portrait of a man and his housekeeper looking at a caricature of themselves. The man, standing on the left, is holding the picture in his left hand and squinting to see it. He is wearing dark breeches and coat, a bob wig and three-cornered hat. His housekeeper is looking at the outstretched picture the picture, with her face in half-profile. She wears a white and yellow striped dress and mob cap and is holding a fan.
The title of the caricature they are looking at is 'An Old Huncks & his Housekeeper'. The dialogue, in speech bubbles, is as follows:
"O Mrs Jones! - Mrs Jones! What will become of us - they have put us in the print shops. - I shall never be able to shew my face upon change again. - "An Old Huncks and his Housekeeper! - did you ever hear the like?"
The housekeeper replies:
"To be sure Mr Squeezeem it is very like you - but you see they find a difficulty in catching my grace and manner."
