Description
Charles Johnson Thornewill, known as 'John', was the son of the Revd Charles F Thornewill. He appears to have had a variety of jobs in the engineering industry before his health failed after brief service in the Second World War. He lived at The Thatched Cottage in Creaton, Northamptonshire, in the 1940s, but later moved to North Yorkshire. He married Dorothy Wright,as his second wife, in 1955
