| Administrative History | Charlotte Annie Bemrose was the daughter of Sir Henry Howe Bemrose and his wife Charlotte Brindley. She married on 10 Jan 1893 David `Vid' Davies (1864-1926). Vid Davies was a missionary at Dera Ismael Khan, Punjab, India, 1890-1894. He was successively curate of St George, Newcastle under Lyme, St Ebbe, Oxford and St Mark, Sheffield, before becoming vicar of St Luke's, Derby from 1900-1920. Their daughter Daphne was born on 27 Jun 1904. |
