Transcript or Index | Madam, With every respect due to the sister of my Guardian Mr Mundy I address you in behalf of my remaining under the protection of Mr & Mrs Percival. If it is not agreeable to your paying the remainder of the twenty Guineas which I acknowledged in a receipt promising to repay it at the age of twenty one I will support myself [page 2] and seek that sustinence[?] from the world at large which those friends I have ever Loved and respected have refused me you cannot possibly have any objection as I insured your permission the day we met at Miss Edgells – Before I conclude my letter let me add that the Name of Feilding never was nor never will be disgraced by me. I am Madam, Your very Hum[ble] Ser[van]t M Feilding No 19 Circus[?] Thursday mor[nin]g |
