| Administrative History | 'Destination Millennium' was the title of a National Year of Reading project organised by the Glossop centre of the High Peak Adult Education Office. Competitors of all ages from pre-school to University of the Third Age were asked to write about their wishes for the Millennium. Prizes were awarded at an open-air-event 'A Taste of the Tropics' in Norfolk Square, Glossop on 12 June 1999. |
