Reciting lease by Lord George Howard, eldest son of Henry, Duke of Norfolk, and others, to Waterhouse (2 July 1694)
In consideration of £97.10s. of a messuage with closes called Knockle Croft, Three Dole in the Towne Field, White Leyes, Crow Carr, Rim Dole, Pitt Dole, Doge Croft, Horsehey, Horsehey Meadow, Cowhey and the Haugh with tithes of hay (25 acres.) at Simmondley, for 50 years at £2 p.a. and reciting mortgage of the leasehold premises by Waterhouse to the Shelmerdines for £100 (8 May 1695), that if the £100 is paid by 8 May next, then the mortgage is to be void
