Derbyshire County Council: Medical Officers of Health
Administrative History
Medical practitioners were required to notify cases of specified infectious diseases or conditions to the Medical Officer of Health of the relevant district council. A new system of recording was introduced in 1975 when the registers were closed.
Custodial History
The records were deposited by South Derbyshire National Health Trust in November 1999.
