Administrative History	The hospital on Heanor Road was originally run by the Corporation as a maternity and children's hospital but by the early 1920s, it was only dealing with maternity cases. In 1948 it passed to the National Health Service and was known as Ilkeston Maternity Home.
Custodial History	The records were deposited by South Derbyshire National Health Service Trust in November 1999.
