In 1967 Frank Pratt together with his partner (and former apprentice) T C Jones moved to Wirksworth on the loss of the Derby premises when the Derby inner ring road was built. They purchased the Old Grammar School in December 1968 and adapted it for their use. The firm also acquired a new showroom at 67 King Street, Derby. Frank Pratt retired in 1973 leaving Thomas Jones to continue the firm. He died in 1981. |
