This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:

Greenfield Pasture and other lands [18thc]. Scale: no scale shown. Size: 45 x 56 cm. Materials: ink on paper in three pieces, torn on folds. Centred on: SK225637 Notes: compass indicator, north-west at top. Rough sketch showing Birchover vein and other shafts and veins: stream dividing the lordships (Harthill/Stanton): Stoney Lee Common (?Stanton Lees): endorsed 'Stoney Lee and Greenfield Mines'.
