Lease for 21 years by Bache Thornhill of Stanton to John Barker of Bakewell, William Milnes of Stubbing Edge pa Ashover and Benjamin Wyatt of Foolow, lead-merchant, of his· mines in Stanton shown on the plan, with Thornhills Sough, paying 1/12th ore raised; the lessees covenant to cleanse and repair Thornhills Sough to the Hab Knab Vein and to continue it to Bowers Rake, and to employ miners from Stanton in preference to those from other townships.
