Title
Lease for 99 years by John Monk Morgan of Woodhouse to Thomas Hayley of Weston Green, Surrey (reciting that the lessor owns half the manor of Stanton, and that the Duke of Rutland owns the other half) in consideration of the expense incurred by the lessee in undertaking the works hereafter mentioned, of one half of mines under Stanton Moor, yearly rent 1/12th of ore raised and 3d per load as half the lessor's cope. Dated 11 Jan 1748/9
