Description
John Taylor of Bakewell operated a bookselling and publishing business, in partnership with James Walton and George Frederick Maberly. In 1853 the partnership was dissolved. After the deaths of John Taylor and James Walton, there was a legal dispute about copyright issues arising out of the dissolution of the business and the liquidation of the estate of James Walton between 1871 and 1874.
