| Administrative History | Clifton Parish Council came into existence in December 1894 under the Local Government Act of 1894. Areas of activity for parish councils included street lighting, allotments, recreation grounds, footpaths, war memorials, village halls, public seating, burial grounds and civic celebrations. |
