Administrative HistoryThe following records relate to Antony Thorpe, who worked for Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd at Derby, and was trained during World War II to form and train an Auxiliary Bomb Disposal Unit. After the war, he remained at Rolls Royce, working in the Gear Shop, for which he became a trade union committee member and secretary.
