| Administrative History | Phebe Tantum, only daughter of Francis Tantum of Fall House, The Breach, Heanor and his wife Elizabeth née Redfern, was born on 18 May 1759. Her brother Francis was murdered in 1795. She married Thomas Howitt of Heanor on 20 October 1786. They had several children:
