Glossop Borough Council
Administrative History
The Borough of Glossop was created by Royal Charter in October 1866 and the first election took place in December 1866. Under Local Government reorganisation in 1974, Glossop ceased to be a separate borough.
Custodial History
These records were deposited by High Peak Borough Council in January 1988 and May 1997.
