Etwall Primary School (formerly John Port School)
Administrative History
Etwall Primary School was built by the governors of Sir John Port's Charity in 1870. Its management was vested in six managers in 1875 who receieved £100 per annum from the governors. This was withdrawn in 1903 and in 1904 the school became a provided school under the Education Act of 1902.

Acquired by Derbyshire Record Office in 1996.
