Administrative History | Long Row Junior School, Belper, was originally the Strutts Mill schools. The schools were built around 1818 and were conducted on the Lancastrian model with Boys, Girls and Infants Departments. It was taken over by the Belper School Board in April 1886 and became a Council School in 1903. It became a Junior Mixed School in September 1962 and closed in July 1973. |
