| Administrative History | The Chapel was built in 1873. In 1897 it was organised as a mission separate from the circuit, until it returned to the Buxton Circuit in 1905. It had to close, however, in 1918, although a Devonshire Park investment trust continued to exist to administer outstanding funds to aid extension work in the circuit. |
