Administrative History
Meetings were first held in 1834 and its first chapel built in 1860. The society moved to a second chapel in 1866, where it stayed until its closure in 1991.
Custodial History
These records were deposited in the Record Office by Buxton Methodist Circuit in December 1991 and February 1992, before being re-accessioned in 1995. Added to the catalogue as part of the FindersKeepers project by volunteer JGF.
