Records of Ebenezer Methodist Church, Church Lane, Wirksworth, originally a Wesleyan Methodist Church. The church was opened in 1810 and Elizabeth Evans (Dinah Morris in "Adam Bede" by George Eliot) preached there. The church closed in 1960 and the building was sold in 1981.
These records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in August 1986 and January 1989, with the addition of item D4012/1/4/1 in August 2006. |
